My blankety-blank foot

I’m hesitant to even talk about this, but my right foot hurts at my arch and heel — plantar fasciitis perhaps? I won’t speculate too much. The mild pain started this week and bothered me one night in the bed. It seems as if a 2-mile run on the treadmill made it worse. Now, it seems like it bothers me just sitting around. Doing yard work today felt fine … it’s well after the fact when it bothers me.

So, I’m not really sure what my approach will be to running right now. Running hasn’t been so great lately, but things were starting to turn around this month. I’m a bit aggravated that I have something bothering when I’ve been taking it easy. Fortunately I have a gym membership to do some non-contact workouts this week. I’ll probably try to run once or twice, but if it continues to bother me I won’t hesitate to see a doctor.

My advice to others has always been to listen to your body, and I once again find myself taking my own advice. I do practice what I preach.

Yep, I am slowly learning the “listen to your body” approach. Your definitely doing the right thing taking it a bit easy. I need to do the same!!!

Ugh with PF. My chiro fortunately fixed that, then sternly reminded me to stretch religiously & get new shoes. I also got a funky Strassberg sock which seemed to help.
